Overwatch has a new upcoming event called Storm Rising that will be hitting the game on April 16th, 2019 and ending on May 6th, 2019. We don’t know a ton about it just yet, but it looks like we’ll be joining certain members of the Overwatch team on a hunt to take down Doomfist’s accountant, Maximilian. We’ve gotten a couple of teasers so far, but we don’t know a lot about the event.
It seems to me that this will likely to be an event like Overwatch Archives: Retribution. How it worked was you’d get to pick from a limited pool of Overwatch characters, and take them through a level attempting to survive and take down as many NPCs as possible. You could ramp up the difficulty if you wanted, and gain more stars towards your team score by trying different strategies. Overall, it should be a fun event and worth giving a shot if you have Overwatch!

Teaser #1 for Overwatch Storm Rising
The first teaser for the Overwatch Storm Rising event introduced us to a potential new character named Sojourn. It looks like we’re gathering the Overwatch team together to trackdown Doomfist’s accountant that is named Maximilian.
