Sony announced that the incoming PlayStation 4 exclusive game Concrete Genie releases on Oct. 8, 2019. At the same time, Sony revealed that the game, currently in the making at San Diego’s studio Pixelopus, comes with a photo mode on day one. The PlayStation Network services are returning to normal after an extended outage on Sunday. The PlayStation Support site lists the network’s status as online, after Sony’s Ask PlayStation Twitter account announced that services were in the process of being restored. The PlayStation Network went down on Sunday afternoon with no explanation as to why. Nintendo released a trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus on Tuesday that teased region-exclusive final evolutions for the game’s three starters: Rowlett, Cyndaquill, and Oshawott. The trailer stopped short of showing these new forms in action but claimed players would “be able to discover their evolved forms” in the final game. Based on the trailer, the starters’ second forms look to be identical to the ones featured in previous games. It seems only the final forms will vary from their original designs....

This week saw the biggest news yet for Niantic’s massively popular Pokemon Go mobile game.
