After releasing a few teasers over the past few weeks, Overwatch has officially released an origins story video for their newest hero, and fans are stoked. Heroes, welcome Echo to the fold! In the video, we are introduced to Dr. Mina Liao in what might be the moment of her death. Fans deeply familiar with Overwatch lore might recognize the name as one of the six original founders over Overwatch alongside Soldier: 76, Reaper, Ana, Reinhardt, and Torbjorn....

The next major PS4 update won’t be available yet, but a PlayStation manager is taking ideas from fans on what features it could include. PlayStation Europe’s senior manager, James Fairbairn, is taking suggestions from fans on what might be included in the next PS4 update. He tweeted: “Hey all. What amazing/magical/insane capability would you add to PS4’s feature list? Asking for a friend” He didn’t just write this sentence and forget about it....

Sony says feedback for the PlayStation Now service has been “overwhelmingly positive” so far since the public beta went live a few months ago. Game Informer had a chance to speak with VP of Sony Network Entertainment Eric Lempel more on the PlayStation Now. Lempel said that PlayStation Now is going extremely well with 80 percent of people giving good feedback for the service so far. Bear in mind the public beta for the service is only for users in North America at the moment....

Sony has announced February’s free games for PlayStation Plus members. They are Control: Ultimate Edition, Concrete Genie, and Destruction AllStars. Subscribers using a PlayStation 4 will have access to Concrete Genie and Control, which also features a PS5 version. But Destruction AllStars is a PS5 exclusive. Developed by Lucid Games (Need For Speed Payback), Destruction AllStars was originally a PlayStation 5 launch game. But Sony delayed it last October with the news that it would become a PlayStation Plus title in February....
