Red Barrels has officially announced that a sequel to Outlast is in the works right now. The news came via Bloody Disgusting, who extracted the information from the developer during an interview. The first-person horror sensation released in late 2013 and then extended to current-gen consoles earlier this year. With its mostly positive reception, it seemed a follow-up was certain. And now we can all prepare ourselves (mostly by stocking up on fresh underwear) for the sequel underway at Red Barrels....

Another high-profile member within Blizzard Entertainment is exiting the company amidst the continuing allegations against Activision Blizzard. Bloomberg has reported that Chacko Sonny, who served as the executive producer of the Overwatch franchise and was part of the team working on Overwatch 2, is leaving Blizzard on Friday. Sonny was seen as a stable lead among the staff of the Overwatch team, especially after the game’s director Jeff Kaplan left in April....

Paradox Tectonic will be opening up in Berkeley California Paradox Interactive, known for developing and publishing 4X Grand Strategy games, is opening up a new studio. Paradox, Located in Stockholm, Sweden, has been growing quickly as a publishing company. The new studio will be based in Berkeley, California called Paradox Tectonic. Doctor Who alumni Peter Capaldi joins the Apple TV+ London-based thriller series Criminal Record. The eight-episode series will also star Cush Jumbo (Vera). It comes from the mind of BAFTA Award nominee Paul Rutman (Vera). It is currently in production in London and is produced by Tod Productions and STV Studios. Capaldi, Jumbo, Elaine Collins, and Rutman will executive produce. BAFTA winner Jim Loach (Save Me) will direct. It follows two detectives who go against one another after an anonymous phone call drags them into an old murder case....

It has been confirmed that the highly popular Disney Channel animated series, Phineas and Ferb, will be receiving two new seasons on Disney+. The seasons will each consist of 20 episodes as part of a new deal signed by co-creator Dan Povenmire. A confirmed release window has not been revealed at this time. If you’ve been itching for a look at the PlayStation 4 exclusive Days Gone, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. Sony has confirmed to USGamer that the post-apocalyptic adventure featuring one man and his motorcycle against the world has been delayed to 2019 instead of later this year. Unfortunately, there isn’t any word just yet on what’s caused the delay, and it doesn’t appear that there’ll be much more information offered on that end in the near future, unless there’s an update coming during E3 2018, which is now just a couple of months away....

Initially, the next season of Pokémon Go’s competitive Battle League was set to start on May 1. However, after discovering a technical issue, developer Niantic is pushing the release of Season 2 until May 11 to work out the bug. Because of this delay, those who participated in the first season of the Battle League won’t be able to receive their end of the season rewards until this point. Any rank rewards available for those who qualified, such as those who reached trainer rank 7 for their Elite Fast and Charged TMs, won’t receive them until the new release date....
