It’s tougher than before, but still possible While simply playing through the campaign, catching everything you can, is enough for most Pokemon players, many are more dedicated than that. Shiny hunters are who I’m talking about. The die hard group of fans who want the alternate color variant of their favorite characters. Starters are always one of the most sought after shiny forms of Pokemon. While previous titles allowed for some specific maneuvers that enhanced your chances at these highly prized creatures, things are different here....

New information regarding the “glitch” Pokémon on the Pokémon website may be coming soon. On Sept. 13, there was a “glitch” on the official Pokémon website. If visitors clicked on the “glitch,” they were taken to a webpage that contains information on a mysterious new Pokémon. However key information and the image of the Pokémon were redacted, so the Pokémon was surrounded in mystery. We theorized that this new “glitch” Pokémon might be related to MissingNo....

The mysterious Sun and Moon creatures are back again. The Pokemon franchise has introduced 1,000+ different Pokemon over the years, ranging from regular Pokemon to legendaries and even mythical. Pokemon Sun and Moon completely changed things up with another variation known as Ultra Beasts, with some almost considering them not actual Pokemon, but rather like aliens or just beings from another dimension. With so many Pokemon cut from Sword and Shield, Ultra Beasts were not a part of the base game ,but now they have made their triumphant return with The Crown Tundra expansion....

EA announced that Bullestorm will be getting a demo and it will be releasing very soon. January 25th, the upcoming title from People Can Fly will be available for download on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The demo is said to contain three game modes, allow players to access up to 45 skillshots, and compare statistics with friends. Unique “optimizations” can also be unlocked which may carry over to the retail version of the game...

Because no base is complete without power. Project Zomboid is no simple game. Even something simple like hotwiring a car takes a decent bit of game knowledge to get done. So it may come as no surprise that getting power restored to wherever you are calling home will take a little bit of work. The staple to power anything in Project Zomboid is going to be a generator. Well well well, just when Microsoft was able to put together a great lineup of free games for Xbox Live Games with Gold, Sony goes and ups their game to match. They have just revealed the PlayStation Plus free games for September 2016, including one of the best games of all time: Journey. But there’s still more, so check out the list and video below. The PS Plus free games for September 2016 are Lords of the Fallen for PS4, Journey for PS4 and PS3, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for PS3, Datura for PS3, Badland for PS Vita, PS4, and PS3, and Amnesia: Memories for PS Vita....

IGN may have leaked the release date for Overwatch as their website blasted huge advertisements for it earlier this week. The IGN advertisements for Overwatch were captured by a user on NeoGAF. It shows that the release date for the game will be May 24th, 2016. Another banner shows that the game will also have an early access open beta for those that pre-order it. The open beta is set to happen on May 3rd, 2016....

Square Enix announced a new patch for Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for the Cloud on the Nintendo Switch. Patch ver 1.0.2 is described as fixing a log-in error, as well as some other “minor issues across the titles.” Square doesn’t go into greater detail on what 1.0.2 will do, and it is unknown if fixing these “minor issues” will make the games run better. Integrum Masterpiece is a game collection that contains the full Kingdom Hearts franchise for the Cloud....

Paytm has partnered with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Vodafone Idea to enable UPI recharges for feature phone users. The service is implemented through NPCI’s payment service *99# that works on Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD). Announcing the initiative, Paytm Senior VP Abhay Sharma said, “There are over 550 million feature phone users in the country. A majority of them are migrants and daily wage earners. Due to the ongoing lockdown, many people who rely mainly on mobile phone stores, recharge kiosks are finding it difficult to top-up their basic feature phones which rarely have internet data facility”....

According to Konami, part of the reason for the demo’s release was so fans could get used to the new control mechanics of PES 2015. “The PES 2015 demo is out today and will give you the perfect opportunity for a pre-season session with the new control and content elements, which have been hailed as the new benchmark in football games across the globe.” The demo itself gives you a pretty good amount of time with the game....

Microsoft’s executive vice president at gaming Phil Spencer has hinted at The Initiative possibly being rebooting an old Xbox intellectual property. The Santa Monica-based studio was revealed at E3 2018, and since then, we’ve not heard anything official about what the studio is currently working on. Spencer has shared on Twitter that the developers are now “challenging themselves to do new things things (and old things 🙂 ) in new ways....

Fleabag is going on an adventure Content creating genius Phoebe Waller-Bridge is set to be the female lead in the next chapter in the Indy series, Indiana Jones 5. Deadline is reporting that James Mangold and Lucasfilm are looking to add Fleabag herself to co-star with Harrison Ford. James Mangold has also taken over as director from previous director, Steven Spielberg, who will remain on as a producer. Shooting for the next chapter is set for this summer, with plans on releasing it in the summer of 2022....

A new handheld console is entering the console race; meet the Playdate. Panic Inc. are the publishers of Firewatch and will publish the future most important game ever, the Untitled Goose Game. They partnered with Teenage Engineering to design a new handheld console. This new handheld is called the Playdate. It is bright yellow, with a 400×240 black-and-white screen. There’s a d-pad with buttons that go up, down, left, and right....

Sony’s renewed PlayStation Plus excites its members. The Japanese company combined the PS Plus and PS Now and created a new service in previous months, a competitor to Xbox Game Pass. A couple of days ago, Sony revealed the inaugural Game Catalog lineup for the all-new PlayStation Plus, which is available now for Extra and Premium members. Thus, the platform received its first monthly update. Sony’s inaugural PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for July included two PSP games at first....

The PlayStation Vita is doing just fine in Japan even though it’s been pushing up daisies for a while now in the US, and a new bundle has just been released in Japan to get even more people to check out the handheld. The bundle is simply called the Starter Kit, which comes with either a glacier white or aqua blue PlayStation Vita, its accessories and a 16 GB memory card....

When will Team GO Rocket Grunts and Balloons be back Almost two weeks ago the unthinkable happened in Pokémon GO, as Team GO Rocket Grunts and Balloons simply disappeared from the game. At the time it seemed like a temporary measure. Players on the latest version of the game were experiencing freezes and crashing when encountering the nefarious foes, so Niantic disabled their appearance within the game. Players assumed it wouldn’t last long, but only now are we getting an idea of when Team GO Rocket Grunts and Balloons will return to Pokémon GO....

They are called shiny because they generally add a slight sheen, making them stand out more than the normal versions.
