A Pokémon Go update went live yesterday, and it brought a bunch of new changes to the game. One of those changes included switching some region-exclusive Pokémon. Plusle and Minun, who were previously exclusive to certain regions, are now available around the world. The update also added 20 new Pokémon to the game, including Taillow, Swellow, Wingull, Pelipper, Surskit, Masquerain, Volbeat, Illumise, Swablu, Altaria, Castform, Tropius, Chimecho, Bagon, Shelgon, Salamence, Beldum, Metang and Metagross....

In the original generation of Pokémon, only a handful of Psychic-types appeared. Given that they are incredibly powerful against most other types, this makes sense. One of those few is Kadabra, the evolved form of Abra who could evolve into Alakazam. And while this Pokémon has continued to appear in the games, it hasn’t been a part of the trading card game or anime for quite some time. This is due to illusionist Uri Geller....

Pokémon Go development company Niantic has surprised players with splendid news about the Max Pokémon Storage in the game. The max storage limit has been permanently increased from 4,000 to 4,500, and a special event deal has been put in to the game’s shop! On June 4, 2021, players were given the option to increase the amount of Pokémon in their inventory by 500. This can be done in the game’s shop by purchasing the Storage Upgrade for 200 PokéCoins....

As of June 5, professional Fortnite player H1ghSky1 has had his account suspended from Twitch. Neither Twitch nor H1ghSky1 has given any official reason for the suspension, but it is likely the result of details revealed through Tfue’s lawsuit against FaZe Clan. In a report from Kotaku, last week Tfue, real name Turner Tenney, a professional Fortnite player and streamer sued FaZe Clan. To celebrate, developer Atlas has gifted those anxiously awaiting the hack-and-slack spin-off with the “All-Out Action” trailer. In just one-minute, the thrilling, fast-paced footage highlights a number of attacks from the almighty Joker and the rest of The Phantom Thieves. In addition, it lends an idea at how the real-time combat will blend in with certain turn-based aspects from the original Persona 5, as video shows Joker periodically pausing combat to briskly switch between skillsets....

Good news for fans looking forward to the upcoming release of Phantasy Star Online 2 on Xbox One: the game will not be region locked when it is released. According to the game’s North American Twitter account, there are no plans to keep players or the game locked to a specific location. SCEE president Andrew House has recently been quoted as saying that is “unlikely” that any developer has tapped the full potential of the PlayStation 3. In an interview at the official PlayStation web portal House was quoted. “If you look at PlayStation 2 as an example, it took God of War II eight years into the lifecycle to fully utilize the potential of the console”, and added “Already with the PlayStation 3 you can see how games have evolved quickly in the three years since launch, with games such as Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, and Heavy Rain really exploring the potential and power of PlayStation 3....
