It feels like just yesterday that I was jumping into Payday 2 for the first time, doing my first run of the standard bank on loud, like any first-time player does. Since then, I was enthralled by everything the title has to offer. From the ridiculous amount of heists, set of quests, hundreds of guns, and more, I’d still happily jump back in to this day. Today though, the team behind the title is beginning celebrations for a massive milestone....

During the PC Gaming Show, players saw a new trailer for the Starward Industries game The Invincible. The new sci-fi title pulls its inspiration from an acclaimed literary author building its world in the world of their written work. The Phantom Thieves have become known the world over for stealing hearts, but with the Steam release of Persona 5 Strikers, they seem to have stolen a place on the Steam Top Sellers list last week. The spinoff of the original 2017 JRPG classic has managed to sneak in at number 10 on last week’s list, which is even more impressive when you consider the fact that the game hasn’t even been released yet....

To the ever eccentric and zany Peter Molyneux, his studio’s latest multi-part project feature “very very different, unusual, I think very intriguing things.” To us, such “things” are likely the same breed of crazy we’ve become accustomed to with any development that Molyneux’s name appears next to, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. During a talk at Imperial College London’s GaME12 event, Molyneux revealed to BeefJack that his new development studio, 22 Cans, is hard at work on a project dubbed, “22 Experiments,” the first of which could see a release in as few as six weeks....

If you are sick of getting Pharrell’s “Happy” song in your head, you’ll be happy to know the song will not be featured in NBA 2K15. Ever since 2K Sports announced that Pharrell Williams would curate the soundtrack for NBA 2K15, fan reception has been mixed. Many feared that the soundtrack for the game would all feature his own songs. As for “Happy”, that is one song that gets played over and over again....

PlayStation Australia has teased there will be some type of announcement regarding The Last of Us Remastered sometime next week. PlayStation Australia wrote on Facebook: “20 days to go, but next week you’ll find out what we’ve got planned.” It’s hard to pinpoint on what else can be shared about The Last of Us Remastered. It’s a re-release after all so there isn’t much more that can be announced regarding the game’s core features....

PlayStation Plus is getting another round of free games this week, following last week’s Bioshock 2 release. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Rochard as part of their subscription. These two titles will be added to the Instant Game Collection when the next PlayStation Store update goes live on December 11th. Sony also explains on the PlayStation Blog, there are more PS Vita games heading to the Instant Game Collection on the handheld later in December....

For Sony, the PlayStation 4 is the gift that keeps on giving. Pokémon GO incentivizes players to engage with the mysterious Team GO Rocket by rewarding most battles with a Shadow Pokémon encounter. Battling Team GO Rocket members is currently the only way to get Shadow Pokémon in the game. Shadow Pokémon can be identified by their red eyes and the purple mist that surrounds them. A Shadow Pokémon usually has the charged move, Frustration, which changes once the Pokémon has been purified....

Project Spark released almost a year ago after beta tests on both Xbox One and PC prior.
