Serebii reports that there are sightings of shiny Shadow Pokémon in the latest patch for Pokémon Go. Earlier today, Pokémon Go had a patch that implemented Team Go Rocket and Shadow Pokémon in the game. Team Go Rocket is the same as Team Rocket in video games and anime; they are an evil organization that tries to kidnap Pokémon and want to conquer the world. Players can encounter a Team Go Rocket Grunt if they come across a PokéStop that is highlighted in grey on the GPS map....

There have been several questionable additions to Pokémon Go by developers Niantic, but the recently announced Elite Raids seem to take the cake for the boldest and most anti-player gameplay mechanic introduced yet. The first Elite Raid to arrive will appear this Sunday, October 16, featuring Hoopa Unbound. How an Elite Raid will work is similar to the previous one, three, and five-star raids already in the game. When an Elite Raid egg appears at a gym, it will take 24 hours for the egg to hatch before the raid Pokémon appears, and players can battle it....

The trailer was revealed during the latest Pokémon Presents Today, during the latest Pokémon Presents, Nintendo and the Pokemon Company revealed a new trailer and new details regarding Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which promises to take players on a journey and bring new exploration elements to the acclaimed franchise. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet officially launches on November 18 on Nintendo Switch, offering a suite of changes to the Pokémon formula following the shift that came with Pokémon Legends: Arceus. According to the most recent sales data out of Japan, Sony’s PS Vita has seen another week over week drop. The latest report from Media Create has the handheld seeing a 57% drop in sales, down to 18,361 units. This number would put the PS Vita at around 500,000 units lifetime since its December launch. While something is clearly troubling the recent launch of the handheld, Sony maintains that the device is selling to the company forecasts....

Final Fantasy XV has just received a new Patch 1.27. The size of the update is 9.367 GB on PS4, 10.56 GB on Xbox One, and 15.4 GB on PC. According to the details revealed in the official patch notes, Patch 1.27 implements the last FFXV collaboration event called “Adventurer from Another World”. This collaboration is between FFXV and FFXIV. ​ In addition to this, Patch 1.27 adds Russian Voice Pack, implement and release of multiplayer comrades, adds secret missions and bonus quest in Comrades, and many other things....

The Persona series has become one of the most popular gaming series around for RPG fans over the years, with it seeming like new spinoffs for the series are coming out left and right. The most recent game in the series, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth released in Japan just a couple weeks ago on the Nintendo 3DS, with a release scheduled in the US this fall, but Atlus USA divulged some information about the game during E3 during a closed door event that Siliconera has now revealed....

Atlus has announced that Persona Q2 is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Despite many holding out hope for a version of Persona 5 to head to the Nintendo Switch, this announcement will have to do for Nintendo fans. A teaser site for the game recently went live, and it’s using graphics and text from Persona 5 so we can likely expect that Atlus follows suit and releases something similar to what they did with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labryrinth....

It’s been over two years since the release of an official PGA game on consoles, but the action on the virtual course has heated up. Since then, 2K locked up Tiger Woods to an exclusive deal and bought out Canada-based developer HB Studios, while EA Sports announced its intentions to release a golf game of its own. Now, we get to see how 2K builds on its last golf game, as PGA Tour 2K23 will be released later this year....
