The latest patch notes for Paladins have dropped, and we have a new look at the upcoming pirate’s themed battle pass releasing shortly, until early November. The battle pass features 50 levels, each filled with various new Champion skins. The patch also includes new Champion ability balancing and new map variants for King of the Hill.
The Paladins Pirate Treasure battle pass is going to cost players 600 crystals to purchase. For those who don’t want to buy the battle pass immediately have the option of progressing through the standard pass and receiving 150 crystals, reducing the overall cost to 450. There are rewards exclusive to the battle pass owners who purchase it, though. If you want all of the skins available, you’re going to want to pay up the amount before the pass goes away.
The new patch, patch seven, is another attempt at Hi-Rez to retrofit the game’s user interface. They want to make it more friendly and more comfortable to access whenever they jump into the game. The Play Screen, Champions Selection Screen, and the Battle Pass Screen were given visual updates, making it easier to view the various Champions models.
Additionally, the Onslaught queue is receiving new King of the Hill map variants for Snowfall Junction, Trade District, Marauders Port, and the Magistrate’s Archive. We get a brief screenshot of each one, which you can view on the Paladins Steam news page. The King of the Hill position is set to change every one and a half minutes, during a 15-minute match.
