The two biggest and most beloved idiots of the 90s are back. Paramount+ has dropped the trailer for the upcoming film Beavis, and Butt-Head Do the Universe trailer. The film, which was without a title just a few months ago, is now set to release on Paramount+ on June 23. The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is a sequel to the 1996 film Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, and it will feature the iconic duo up to their old antics, though this time they somehow find themselves in the last place either of them belong: outer space. The two teenage morons are somehow aboard a 1998 space mission before time-traveling into the present-day… though as the trailer shows, 2022 is not the number Butt-Head is interested in.
Beavis and Butt-Head Trailer Promises Dumbest Science Fiction Movie Ever
Paramount+ is promising the dumbest science fiction movie ever, and this certainly looks to be the case. The trailer Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe features numerous sex jokes, the two boys oblivious of how a smartphone works, and almost every other antic you can picture from these famous clowns. It also features Beavis bringing back his famous alter-ego, The Great Cornholio, while in prison. How he gets there, we can only guess, although a segment in the trailer in which the boys crash a police car in reverse may have something to do with it.
Essentially, the duo is as dumb as ever. And with zero censorship on Paramount+, their antics are looking to be wilder than ever.
Paramount+ Brings Back Iconic Beavis and Butthead
Along with this new movie, Beavis and Butt-Head will be revived as a series, with new episodes airing later this year on Paramount+. Another famous cartoon of the 1990s, Ren & Stimpy, is also set to be rebooted. Apparently, audiences can’t get enough of 90s animation.
