When there’s something strange in a haunted house, it’s time to call on your fellow supernatural explorers. In comes Paranormal Hunter, the new game from developer EALoGAMES where players essentially deal with paranormal activity. The game already unleashed a demo earlier this year, but EALoGAMES has made some improvements. And it all comes together with this week’s Steam Next Fest. The updated demo for Paranormal Hunter is available to download now.

It’s Supernatural Hide-and-Seek in Paranormal Hunter

“Turn your fear into courage” is partly stated in the Steam description of Paranormal Hunter. It feels as if it’s the ultimate drive of the game, with its various haunted areas and encounters. Paranormal Hunter, for the uninformed, is an online multiplayer horror experience where up to four friends go up against the terrifying unknown. With their trustworthy ghost sensors, incense, and amulets, it’s up to them to discover how to eliminate the ominous evil. Below is the teaser trailer for Paranormal Hunter if you want to see what’s been generated thus far.

However, the enemies beyond the shadows have tricks up their sleeves. No two sessions in Paranormal Hunter will be the same. Each run will toss around the obstacles to ensure a different experience. Work together through the game’s accessible cross-platform gameplay, as both mouse/keyboard and VR players can assemble to create a powerful team. Of course, the game also offers controller support for the thumbstick crowd.

With that in mind, the demo for Paranormal Hunter from EALoGAMES is now available via its Steam page. The game is currently in its Early Access phase, but you can wishlist the title to stay up to date with its progress. Paranormal Hunter will also arrive on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch when the game releases its 1.0 version. Steam Next Fest will be running from July 18 – 25.
