Everyone on the set of Sex and the City Reboot thought the former costume director of the show, Patricia Field, was back with them. She paid an ‘unintentional’ visit to the HBO max reboot on Monday and was welcomed with open arms.

People on the show were excited to have the Emmy-winning star return to styling the lead ladies again, but they were wrong. A source told Page Six that she was recognized by one of the photographers when she was passing by. The camera expert exclaimed, “Oh my God, we’re so excited you’re back on set.”

Patricia Field made it clear she accidentally visited the set of Sex and the City Reboot in her response. Field stated that she wasn’t on set and didn’t know what movie they were shooting.

Michael Patrick King, the show’s director, had to come out to see her. The brief reunion had them take some photos together. Page Six reached out to the star costumier, and she confirmed that she was truly walking by the show’s set.

According to Patricia Field, walking in on the Sex and the City set was a great coincidence and surprise. She also confirmed that she wouldn’t be styling Sarah Jessica Parker and her costars. Molly Rogers has taken over that role as Field has a lot on her table.

As a matter of fact, Field had to turn down the job because she has her hands on “Emily in Paris,” a Netflix series she has been styling for the past three seasons.
