It feels like just yesterday that I was jumping into Payday 2 for the first time, doing my first run of the standard bank on loud, like any first-time player does. Since then, I was enthralled by everything the title has to offer. From the ridiculous amount of heists, set of quests, hundreds of guns, and more, I’d still happily jump back in to this day. Today though, the team behind the title is beginning celebrations for a massive milestone. The Payday series is now 10 years old, and the team at Overkill is celebrating with plenty of anniversary events!
For starters, the game will be seeing a series of updates and events to honor this major achievement. The entire Payday catalog (including the capable Payday: The Heist) will be seeing massive discounts across the board, letting either you or your friends get in on all the Payday gang has to offer. From the brand new DLCs to some great cosmetics, there are lots to choose from. Some of the strongest deals include the San Martin Bank Heist, the Buluc’s Mansion Heist, and the Breakfast in Tijuana Heist at 20% off a piece. If you’re not into spending money though, then you’ll score a free anniversary outfit alongside a limited-time game mode featuring balloons that give limited-time bonuses during heists.
