The Pikmin series is one of Nintendo’s most delightful franchises, featuring lush worlds full of adorable Pikmin to gather and command. With the fourth installment in the series, Pikmin 4 has been long awaited by fans and newcomers alike. Fortunately, that wait will be coming to an end soon.
Everything we know about Pikmin 4
Pikmin 4 received a teaser trailer, complete with Miyamoto’s giddy excitement, and fans got their first look at the upcoming title. Not much was revealed, but we did learn that players will be able to experience a new perspective from Pikmin’s view.
What is the release date of Pikmin 4?
Sadly, there is no official release date outside of the 2023 window. This means that it could release anytime within that year. You can follow the official Nintendo Twitter for more information and updates.
What platforms will Pikmin 4 be on?
Pikmin 4 will be exclusively available on the Nintendo Switch. This means you will need the Nintendo console to continue the epic story of the Pikmin series.
Is Olimar in Pikmin 4?
We do not know if Olimar will be in Pikmin 4 as we have not seen the captain, his ship, or had a mention of him. The teaser for Pikmin 4 was brief and showed little, so he may return. In fact, Olimar has appeared in all Pikmin games, so we will likely get to play as Olimar again.
