Indeed, the Living Ink is capable of projecting bizarre illustrations, birthed from the imagination of the player. Need to see more? Yaza Games and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have put together a launch trailer for Inkulinati for you to check out during its Early Access phase.
It’s All in the Wrist in Inkulinati, The New Medieval Tale Told Straight from the Pages by Yaza Games
Available today is the Inkulinati, a fresh take on the strategy genre where medieval characters are generated through drawing up caricatures. As exemplified in the Steam for Inkulinati, such examples exist like “rabbit’s bum can be deadlier than a dog’s sword” and “human-eating snails”. It’s all in the imagination of the gamer here, with a distinctive bestiary to refer to as they assemble their inked-in troops.
The Inkulinati launch trailer displays both humor and gameplay for viewers to check out. It essentially goes through 7 fundamental facts about the game, with live-action actors inking in their fighters to duke it out on the pages.
In addition to the launch, Early Access illustrators will be able to dive into the two available game modes. There’s the single-player campaign where you journey across lands to battle Inkulinati masters whilst gathering your ultimate army. Then there’s the PvP mode for local play; online multiplayer is currently in the works over at Yaza Games for Inkulnati.
After “700 years in the making”, the Inkulinati have emerged, available now for PC Early Access (Steam and GOG) and Xbox Game Preview. We’ve attached the official website here if you wish to stay up-to-date with this new medieval title from Yaza Games.
