Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered‘s PC port was one of the important headlines of the month. The original game was released in 2018 with PlayStation 4 exclusively. Then the game was remastered for PS5, which brought more high-quality graphics. The remastered version did well, but after the God of War’s PC release, we expected a PC port for one of the greatest super-hero games. Gamers’ dreams became real, and the PC release was good as the PS4 release. Thanks to the PC’s freedom, mod developers can make fun mods for the game. Here’s one of the first mods for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and it might be the weirdest one.
It was nearly impossible to make any mods for the console version. Insomniac didn’t release a modding tool for the PC version, but some mod developers already achieved what they wanted. A fan-made work lets you play the game as Uncle Ben’s gravestone.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Mod Lets You Play as a Gravestone
We can’t say that playing as a gravestone will improve your gaming experience. The mod maker changed Spider-Man’s suit to Uncle Ben’s gravestone; that’s how it’s possible. There’s an unofficial modding tool for the game, which means we might see more absurd mods. Uncle Ben isn’t included in the game, but if you want to remember him more often, the mod seems like a great way to do this.

We’ve seen the same thing for the PlayStation 4 version too. YouTuber jedjijosh920 released gameplay where a gravestone is Spider-Man. That mod can also be built for the console version because the work isn’t that hard. The mod makers are replacing Spider-Man’s suit. But it has definitely made developing mods for PC much easier, thanks to the unofficial mod tool for Spider-Man Remastered. You better open your eyes for the funny mods we might see in the future.
