After a short break we have the latest sales numbers from Japan, which includes both Christmas week as well as the first week of the new year. As expected, the numbers have stayed pretty consistent through these last few weeks, with some systems rising and others falling for various reasons. One thing is clear though, the New 3DS LL is the dominating force in Japanese gaming at this time. Sales of the handheld device have remained consistently high, with it remaining above 75,000 for the last three weeks, topping out over 100,000 for two of them. However, this shouldn’t diminish the successes of the rival PS Vita, which hasn’t had the same level of success, but still remains high on the charts.
