It’s the last week of the month, and we all know what that means: next month’s line-up of PlayStation Plus freebies. Today, Sony unveiled the PlayStation Plus June games, and there’s no shortage of variety that should suit genre-hoppers on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5: Operation: Tango, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, and Star Wars: Squadrons.

June’s PS Plus Line-Up

First up, Operation Tango has players take on an espionage-themed cooperative adventure with a twist; players work together but from two different points of view with no more than voice comms to best challenges and rid the world of nefarious forces threatening the free world. June 1st is also the official release date for Operation Tango, with Sony securing Fall Guys-style day-one access for PlayStation Plus members. This one’s reserved for PlayStation Plus subs lucky enough to own a PlayStation 5, though.

Next up, we have yet another launch day PlayStation Plus treat in the shape of Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, an in-depth remaster – new engine, visuals, UI, and all – of the iconic arcade fighting game coming for the first time to PlayStation 4. Steering the ship is Yakuza and Judgment developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, so plenty of pedigree here. Expect new online modes, including ranked, leagues, and tournaments.

Finally, we have the rather excellent space dogfight sim, Star Wars: Squadrons, rounding out June’s PlayStation Plus line-up. Over to Sony for a brief description:
