The Winner Is…

Alright, this was a tough one. By the numbers, PS Plus won it. They have more games, including extra ones for PS4, and their overall average is higher. However, Microsoft pulled the classic move of offering a brand new title in its bunch. Officially I would call this one a full blown tie, but personally I’m gonna side with Xbox Live Games with Gold.

With the highest rated game of the whole lot, a brand new game, and the stellar Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, it just intrigues me more. I also was always interested in Murdered: Soul Suspect, even if it turned out to be not so great. This is the perfect way to check it out, for free and with little investment.

PS Plus is still a good offering though, and I can easily see how many players would prefer it. Dirt 3 just narrowly lost the highest rated game award, and Sony tossed in a couple of extra PS4 games. This helps counter the fact that the Xbox 360 titles are available through Xbox One Backwards Compatibility.
