The point-and-click adventure game NORCO will be coming to PC on March 24, 2022. This announcement was made in a press release published earlier today.

Developed by Geography of Robots and published by Raw Fury, NORCO is set in what the press release refers to as “a gritty, distorted version of South Louisiana.” The game tasks the player with navigating this grim landscape in search of their missing brother:

This point-and-click adventure is set to an original soundtrack. Today’s press release revealed a collaboration between Geography of Robots and sludge metal band Thou. A trailer featuring some of this music was also released today.

The press release offers some insight into why Thou decided to contribute their music to a point-and-click adventure game:

NORCO is presented in a pixel art style reminiscent of other point-and-click games on PC. The game’s Steam store page promises an adventure full of puzzles and unique characters. Anyone interested in trying the game is in luck, as the first act is available on Steam and GOG now free of charge. According to today’s press release, anyone who plays the demo will be able to pick up right where they left off in the full game.
