Swablu is a rare Normal/Flying-Type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that can offer beneficial supportive abilities that can remove status and weather effects during battle. Players will be able to find Swablu in the Grand Underground or Route 211 in Sinnoh. To catch Swablu on Route 211, Pokémon fans will need the PokéRadar. On the other hand, it is recommended that those looking to locate Swablu in the Grand Underground caverns have the National Dex Upgrade. Once Swablu has been caught, Pokémon BDSP fans can evolve it into Altaria after reaching a certain level.
How to Evolve Swablu into Altaria in Pokémon BDSP
To evolve Swablu into Altaria in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, it needs to be at least Level 35. Upon attaining Level 36, Swablu will evolve and learn the Move, Dragon Pulse. If the player has captured Swablu at a higher level than 35, they only need to level up Swablu once to become Altaria.

One of the most effective ways to level Swablu to Level 35 is giving it a Lucky Egg. Pokémon holding this item in Pokémon BDSP will receive 1.5x the amount of XP from battles. Lucky Eggs can also be acquired as a random prize Loto-ID in Jubilife City.
Additionally, the elusive Chancey Pokémon has a slight chance of holding a Lucky Egg when captured. Alternatively, if the player has a Pokémon with the Thief Move, they can attempt to steal the egg. The Battle Tower shop also sells Lucky Eggs; however, they come at an expensive cost of 77 BP. Once players equip Swablu with the Lucky Egg in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, it will level up and evolve into Altaria in no time.
