In the latest Pokémon Go Event, Spring into Spring, there are several Pokémon that will appear in raids from April 12 through April 18. One of these Pokémon is Grotle, the second evolution of Turtwig. This Pokémon is available to battle in three-star Raids for the duration of the event.

Since Grotle is a solely grass-type Pokémon, players have quite a few options for countering it. Grass-type Pokémon take increased damage from Flying, Fire, Poison, Bug, and Ice-type moves.

Best counters to use
If you do not have any of the Pokémon listed above, it’s not the end of the world. Using any Pokémon with Flying, Fire, Poison, Bug, or Ice-type moves will take advantage of their increased effectiveness against Grotle’s Grass-typing.
