For the holiday season, Pokémon GO is featuring festive outfits for certain pocket monsters, such as Winter Carnival Pikachu and Stantler with a reindeer collar. While Stantler can be found and caught in the wild, Trainers can also encounter this Normal-type Big Horn Pokémon as a Three-Star Raid Boss. The primary reason players might want to participate in this Stantler is for a chance to catch Shiny Stantler with the holiday outfit. Shiny Stantler is lime green as opposed to its typical light brown coat of fur. Such an appearance is perfect for a makeshift cosplay of the Grinch for the holiday season.

How to Counter Stantler in a Pokémon GO Raid

As a Normal-type Pokémon, the Stantler Raid Boss in Pokémon GO is strong against Ghost-type Moves but vulnerable to Fighting-type attacks. As a result, any Fighting-type pocket monsters that Trainers have in their roster will be effective to use against Stantler in battle. However, fans must ensure their combatants are equipped with Fighting-type Moves before entering the arena.
