Not only do you get to play as your favorite Pokémon in the new MOBA Pokémon Unite, but you can also dress up your adorable monsters to battle in fashion. Holowear allows you to give your Pokémon a brand-new appearance in the in-game arena. To unlock Holowear cosmetics in Pokémon Unite, you’ll need to acquire Holowear Tickets, a unique currency only obtainable through special means. How to Earn Holowear Tickets
There are two main methods for earning Holowear Tickets in Pokémon Unite. You can have a go at the “loot-boxy” Energy Reward machine that will exchange the Aeos Energy you received from playing matches for a random reward. On the other hand, you can obtain tickets more reliably through the game’s Battle Pass.
The Energy Reward system is a fun way to earn various prizes but an inconsistent method to get Holowear Tickets. Additionally, there are some daily and weekly limits to how much Aeos Energy you can exchange for rewards. You are only able to collect 1,400 Aeos Energy a week. If you feel inclined to grind more than that, you can purchase “energy booster tanks,” but they cost real-world money. On top of that, you’re limited to 30 daily spins from the Energy Reward machine. For these reasons, it’s probably more worth your time and effort to focus on getting tickets through Pokémon Unite’s Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass functions as you would expect in any ordinary live-service game. You earn various rewards as you level up, such as a Battle Pass Prize Box containing Holowear Tickets. You also gain a Prize Box every 130 points even after reaching the max level on the Battle Pass.
Once you’ve amassed a decent number of tickets, you can trade them at Zirco’s Trading Store. Each outfit costs 18 Holowear Tickets, so make sure you spend this rare currency only on the Pokémon you want to deck out the most.
