The new Bug Out Event in Pokemon Go will run from August 10, 2022, at 10:00 local time until August 16, 2022, at 20:00 local time. During this period, many Bug-type Pokémon will spawn much more frequently, there will be themed raids everywhere, and you can also gain more experience by hunting these little Bug-type Pokémon. Debuts New Pokemon in Bug Out Event
Three new Pokemon are coming to Pokémon Go. Little Grubbin and his two subsequent evolutions: Charjabug and Vikavolt. You can get Grubbin in the wild. To get Charjabug, you must evolve Grubbin by spending 25 Grubbin Candy. As for Vikavolt, you must evolve Charjabug by spending 100 Grubbin Candy near an active Magnetic Lure Module.

During the Bug Out Event, there will be several helpful features for players:
- Bug-type Pokémon spawn much more frequently in the wild.
- Doing Nice/Great/Excellent Throws will give you x2 XP.

Each player will be able to unlock the Bug Catcher Pose and get 15,000 XP if they can complete the Pokemon Bug-type collection challenge.
