Pokemon Go’s Rampardos has been spotted worldwide for the Adventure Week 2022 event. It has one of the best movesets in the game but can be countered easily with the right Pokemon. Trainers may also employ it to great effect in Raids against some of the Legendaries and Mega Pokemon. Rampardos is back in Pokemon Go on Tuesday, June 7, and will be there until Thursday, June 16, at 10 a.m. local time. Rampardos’ Best Moveset in Pokemon Go

Rampardos’ best moveset in Pokemon Go is Smack Down and Rock Slide. This moveset has the most overall DPS and is also the best in PVP and Gym battles.

Only two fast strikes are available to Rampardos: Smack Down and Zen Headbutt. Though Zen H has a better energy production, Smack Down gets the Same Type Attack Bonus and deals, on average, a higher DPS.

A Pokemon of a given type gains a Same Type Attack Bonus when it employs a move of the same element. If a rock Pokemon used a rock-type move, for example, it would earn an attack boost. This gives the move a 1.2 multiplier, meaning it deals 20% more damage.

When it comes to its strong attack, Rampardos is very versatile. Even though there are only three choices: Flamethrower, Rock Slide, and Outrage. Any of those other abilities would result in incredible combinations, but Rock Slide just deals more damage, again, thanks to the Same Type Bonus.

If you’re unsure who to attack with Groudon, go for the Bug, Flying, and Fire types. This moveset makes them incredibly susceptible.

Rampardos’ Counters in Pokemon Go

Rampardos is a Rock-type Pokemon, making it vulnerable to Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass-type enemies.

The six best Pokemon that you may use to beat Rampardos trainers are the following:

  • Metagross
  • Lucario
  • Kingler
  • Landorus (Therian)
  • Conkeldurr
  • Breloom

Select attacks based on the kind that corresponds to their movesets. For example, Metagross should employ Steel moves. Kingler’s use of Water attacks is another example.
