Any good Pokemon Go trainer knows that building the perfect well-balanced team is crucial to handling various situations that might arise. Dragon Pokemon, in particular, are always a great addition since they have fewer weaknesses than most other types and can learn a variety of different move types. Jangmo-o is a pure dragon type that has been newly introduced into the game from the Seasons of Alola Pokemon Go event. Jangmo-o is excellent since it can learn powerful Dragon-type moves such as Dragon Pulse and Dragon Claw. So for fans wanting to add this powerful ally to their team, here is where to find Jangmo-o in Pokemon Go.

How to Capture Jangmo-o in Pokemon Go

As a Dragon Pokemon, Jangmo-o will likely spawn in highly populated areas. Specifically, good areas to find Jangmo-o in Pokemon Go are important monuments or marked areas within the trainer’s vicinity. If they aren’t having any good luck, they should also consider purchasing plenty of Lure Modules and Incense to attract more Pokemon to their location. Unfortunately, there aren’t any lure models explicitly made for Dragon types, so be sure to stick to the standard model.

It will take some persistence to capture Jangmo-o in Pokemon Go Jangmo-o. However, if players use incense while walking around important monuments, it will drastically increase their chances of finding rather than not doing these tips. To increase their chances even further, players can also keep trying to hatch eggs from their incubators while they are doing this. Although, know Jangmo-o is only available as a 10km egg, which is rare.

Best Moveset for Jangmo-o and Matchups

Once trainers have gotten their hands on a powerful Jangmo-o, they should consider using Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw as their two moves. This combination has the highest possible DPS output and is helpful in PVP and Pokemon Gym battle scenarios.

Jangmo-o is weak to Ice, Dragon, and Fairy-type attacks. So with that in mind, be wary of Pokemon such as Kyurem (Black), Darmanitan (Galarian Zen), Palkia, Rayquaza, and Salamance. Kyurem can potentially learn both Dragon and Ice-type moves, such as Dragon Tail and Blizzard, which will be a massive problem for Jangmo-o.

On the upside, Jangmo0o is super effective against Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric-type Pokemon, which are some of the most common types in the game. At its base form, Jangmo-o only has a max CP of 969, but once trainers find enough candy and evolve it, they can bump it up to 3,309 CP with Kommo-o. Kommo-o in Pokemon GO will also turn into a fighting dragon type, which will make it even more useful against other types, but be wary of Fairy-type Pokemon since they’re super effective against both types.
