Today’s a good day for all Pokemon fans! Early in the morning, we had a very stealthy new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This trailer showed a lot of new things. We got a glimpse of the new villain team, our rival, and some gym leaders. This game is going to be packed now that we’ll be able to tackle three stories in any way we want. But, beyond that, we also got a look at other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon. Right now, the list is growing, and with the release date approaching, we are eager to see all the new Scarlet and Violet Pokemon. Today we’ve compiled a list of the ones that have been revealed so far for the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokedex.
All of Scarlet and Violet’s New Pokemon
Sprigatito
One of the three new starters. Making up the first of the Scarlet and Violet Pokedex, we have the grass-type Pokemon Sprigatito. Its name is a combination of “sprig,” another word in English for branch, and “gatito,” which means kitty in Spanish. Its ability is Overgrow, same as other grass starters.
Fuecoco
The next of the starters is the fire-type Fuecoco. This Pokemon is based on a crocodile. Its name comes from the words “Fuego,” which means fire in Spanish, and “Cocodrilo,” which means crocodile in Spanish. Its ability is Blaze, which powers-up fire moves in a pinch.
Quaxly
The last of Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon starters is Quaxly. The duck Pokemon. Its name comes from “quack,” the sound a duck makes, “hair wax,” and “duckling.” Yes, it is a bit harder than the previous one, but this one is a favorite among the Pokemon community. Its ability is Torrent.
Lechonk
Following the tradition of the regional normal-type Pokemon, we have Lechonk. One of the Pokemon that has been the protagonist of a lot of memes, and people love it. We are unaware of its evolutions, but we’ll surely find this Pokemon in the earlier routes.
Pawmi
Lately, it seems that the recent Pokemon games need to make a Pikachu-Esque Pokemon, and that is what Pawmi is. A mouse-like electric-type Pokemon.
Smoliv
The Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon aren’t safe from getting a grass-type Pokemon that you might find during the early hours. Smoliv or the olive-Pokemon has a dual type. It has both normal and grass types.

Cetitan
Another of the reveals we got during the last Pokemon Presents was Cetitan. An ice-type Pokemon. We are not sure how early or far you can get this Pokemon, given how ice-types are a bit rare to find during the early hours. Yet, with the changes to the pace of the game, we could find it earlier.
Fidough
It has become a trend in the new Pokemon games to add a cute dog Pokemon. This time the turn is for Fidough. The fairy-type Pokemon that we hope evolves into something amazing.
Cyclizar
Moving on with the Scarlet and Violet Pokedex, we have Cyclizar. We know so far that both legendaries and this Pokemon are based on motorcycles and bicycles. This one is another dual-type Pokemon. It has both Dragon and Normal types.
Grafaiai
Another of Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon is Grafaiai. This dual-type Pokemon is Poison and Normal. We love the design, and we truly hope this also gets an evolution.
Klawf
The new rock Pokemon. This crab-like Pokemon seems to come in different sizes, according to the trailer. We know it’s been confirmed that we’ll see the size difference in the open world, so we hope we run into big ones as we saw in the trailer.
Armarouge
Another of the Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon we saw today. Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic Pokemon that wields some amazing arm-cannons. We are unaware if it has a previous evolution.
Ceruledge
Which seems to be the counterpart of Armarouge, is another dua-type Pokemon. This one has the Fire and Ghost types. We already know which one of the two has the edge. No pun intended.
Koraidon
The legendary Pokemon of Scarlet. We still don’t know what type this Pokemon will be. What we do know is that instead of using its wheels to move, Koraidon prefers to run. We’re not complaining, though, it looks awesome.
Miraidon
The last of the Scarlet and Violet’s new Pokemon that have been confirmed is Miraidon. This one is Violet’s legendary Pokemon. Like the previous legendary, this one’s types remain unknown for the moment.
As you can see, Scarlet and Violet’s Pokedex is looking great so far. We’re still two months away from the release date, so we are hoping to get more information in the coming weeks. Remember that you can pre-order the game right now from your favorite retailer or the official Nintendo Shop.
