Police Simulator: Patrol Officers launched in Steam Early Access last year. The game has received some substantial updates since then, such as February’s Keys-to-the-City Update. That update added an Open Patrol mode and more criminals to catch. Now, this police simulator game is taking crimefighting a step further. The Holding Cells Update for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers officially launches today. Publisher Astragon Entertainment announced the update with a press release and a new trailer.
This update was previously tested in the game’s Open Beta, but now it is officially out of Beta testing.
The main feature of The Holding Cells Update is, of course, the holding cells. Previously, when players arrested an NPC, they needed to call a police transport to take prisoners to jail. According to today’s press release, this is no longer necessary:

Today’s update for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers adds a new level of customization to the game. Players are now able to personalize their experience by changing the appearance of their vehicles and uniforms and changing their officer’s name. Today’s press release notes some additional minor changes:
