Poweramp, arguably one of the most popular Android music players, has received a complete design overhaul in the latest beta preview. The design revamp was first mentioned earlier this year in March, when the app’s developer released a statement claiming that a fully functional beta build would be released in April.
- Swipe or click album art to go to the current playing list
- Swipe album art for the next/previous track, drag more for category change (also applies to miniplayer)
- Use miniplayer to return to the main UI or to change tracks
- Swipe left/right from lists for fast return
- Pinch-zoom in lists
Additionally, the Poweramp beta preview also brings with it new menus, panels, popups, dialogs, etc., a new “wave” seekbar, a new visualization panel, new notifications, updated Hi-Res output for Android 7.0, new OpenSL HD Output for Android 8.0.
