Whatever deity is pranking Earth this year need to chill as 2020 claims another victim with May’s PS Plus lineup. The internet fittingly has its pitchforks ready.

Sony has revealed the games list for its subscription service and the raucous crowd goes…silent. Not because they’re in awe, but rather they are checking their calendar to see it’s May 1st instead of April.

Farming Simulator 18 is a game where players can breed livestock, grow crops, sell assets, and of course, farm. Skylines is a city-building simulation where users partake in urban planning by controlling: zoning, taxes road placement on top of other things the young folk like.

PS Plus isn’t the only one taking the Mr.Krabs path, Xbox’s Games With Gold has entered the chat too. They offer V-Rally 4, Overlord 2, Sensible World of Soccer, and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor- Martyr. While not a Blockbuster list, it has not been gathering the ire Plus has.

God Forgives, The Internet Doesn’t

PlayStation’s social media platforms have been dunked in complaints and dislikes since the announcement.  PlayStation Europe’s video currently has over 140,000 views, with around 1,400 likes against 9,000 dislikes. Also, PlayStation Access’ May 2020 PS Plus video has 13,000 dislikes.
