Sony has announced that PS Vita 3.51 system update will be coming out soon. It’s possible it will be out as early as later this week from the sounds of things.

PlayStation Europe announced on Twitter:

“PS Vita and PlayStation TV system update 3.51 is coming soon. It’s a minor update that will improve stability.”

Looking at the announcement, it’s just another stability update for your PS Vita. The same system update will also be available for PlayStation TV owners.

It will be interesting to see how much longer Sony plans to update and support the PS Vita. The saddest part for me was when support for the PS Vita’s YouTube app stopped earlier this year.

The PlayStation TV device is one system that I feel needs more updates than the PS Vita. The device is good for PS4 Remote Play, but isn’t the best system for playing games. The last time I played on the PlayStation TV device, hardly any PS Vita games were playable on it. Let’s hope Sony plans to make more games playable on the PlayStation TV device soon.

Look out for system update 3.51 PS Vita and PlayStation TV owners. Usually when Sony makes an announcement like this, the update is usually up and ready in a day or two.
